MICHAEL F. Vecchione
Michael F. Vecchione is the managing partner of Vecchione, Vecchione & Connors, L.L.P. He has over 31 years of experience as a defense attorney in the area of Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Vecchione has worked on numerous appellate briefs. He has argued in front of the New York State Court of Appeals, as well as the First and Third Departments of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, on Zamora v. New York Neurologic Associates, which is a landmark Workers’ Compensation case that set a precedent for the industry.
Mr. Vecchione also presents at seminars to various insurance companies and employers on pressing issues surrounding Workers’ Compensation Law. Over the last 15 years, he has expanded his firm from two to eighteen attorneys, and is continuing to hire. Graduating Cum Laude from Villanova University, Mr. Vecchione was number four in his class of Economics. While attending St. John’s University School of Law, he interned with a judge on the bench of the Supreme Court, Nassau County. Additionally, Mr. Vecchione is a member of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar, RIMS, The New York Self-Insurers Association and The New York State Claims Association.
